Dr. Shreyas Laxman Palav has been working with ShifaAl Jazeera Medical Centre as a Specialist Ophthalmologist since December 2016 . He has over 20 years of experience as an Ophthalmologist with leading hospitals and medical centers in India and Bahrain.

After completing MBBS from LokmanyaTilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai, India,He did DOMS from College of Physicians and Surgeons of Mumbai. He completed Diplomate of National Board (DNB) from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi while in Bombay Hospital, India.

He is pursuing FICO (Fellow of International Council of Ophthalmology, USA ) , MRCS ( Edinburgh,UK ) & FRCS ( Fellowship of Royal college of Surgeons, Glasgow, UK ).

He has undergone special training in Cataract surgery and Laser refractive surgery, both from prestigious Eye Hospitals in Mumbai, India. He has conducted many Eye Camps in India.He has done a large number of minor and major eye surgeries including those for cataract, glaucoma, squint, corneal transplants, pterygium, eyelid tumours and Laser vision correction.

In Bahrain , he has worked in various hospitals likeAl Amal Hospital, KIMS Bahrain Medical Centre & Royal Bahrain Hospital, Bahrain Specialist Hospital , Al Arrayed Eye Center &Dr. Haifa Eye Hospital.

He has been regularly attending various international conferences and workshops throughout the globe. He has won prizes for Paper presentations in conferences & Quiz competitions.

He excels in all aspects of patient care (Diagnostic & Surgical ) & utilizes his skills for recommendations to help patients take proper care of their eyes. Dr. ShreyasPalav is an experienced Ophthalmologist providing high quality direct medical care to the patients with comprehensive ophthalmology needs including all General Ophthalmology diseases and Refractive errors.
