Dr. Shamnad Majeed Kunju has been with Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Centre as General Physician since 2005. Presently he is the Medical Director of Shifa Aljazeera Medical Centre Branch 1 and medical Administrator of Branch 2.

After his graduation he joined RCPM Hospital (Child and Maternity Centre), Ochira, Kollam, India as Duty Medical Officer for 1 year. Then he worked as a Lecturer in ENT (Provisional) in Medical College, Alappuzha, Kerala. Again he worked as Duty Medical Officer at RCPM Hospital (Child and Maternity Centre), Ochira for 4 years. He has worked as a Casuality Medical officer of Sree Gokulam Medical College, Venjaramoodu, Thirivanthapuram before joining Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Centre Bahrian.

His special filed of interests is infectious disease and viral flu. To his credit there are a number of national and international publications. He has attended various international conferences and CME in Germany, Vienna, Hungary, Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Czech Republic and Jordan.

He completed Fellowship in Diabetes Mellitus (India) Hands on training in Wound Care Management, His Special areas of interest in managing infectious diseases, upper and lower respiratory, tract infections, Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Lipid disorders, Acid peptic disease, Life style diseases and Wound Care Management.
