Dr. Nijesh Menon has been with Shifa al Jazeera Medical Centre as General Physician since 2008, He is handling of emergency cases over a decade, managing all night emergency cases.

After completing his MBBS he joined Bahrath Medical Group Kottayam, India as a Causality Medical Officer for 4 years. He has passed the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) of UK in 2005. He has also passed Advanced Life Support (ALS) from American Heart Association, ALERT from Resuscitation Council UK, Advanced Hospital Life Support from Oxford John Radcliff NHS Trust, and Basic Life Support (BLS provider) from American Heart Association. He has conducted a research on ‘Diabetes Mellitus-A Multifaceted Killer’ and part of the research on ‘Co-investigator –‘Primary Management of Chest Pain Unsing Clinical Decision Support System’ in 2004.

He also worked as a duty doctor in cardiac ICU of Lisie Hospital Ernakulam and used to manage cardiac ambulance service. Afterwards, he worked as RMO in medical informatics Amritha Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), New Delhi. During the tenure he was in-charge of tsunami health relief activities over South India being conducted under AIIMS. In 2006-2007 he worked as RMO in Chazhikattu Hospital Thodupuzha.
