Dr. Harshad A Ghorpade has been with Shifa al Jazeera Medical Centre as a Specialist Orthodontist since May, 2012.

He has a Masters Degree in the field of Orthodontics from the prestigious Ryazan State Ivan Petrovitch Pavlov Medical University, Russian Federation.

He was a Chief Orthodontist at Indira Gandhi Memmorial Hospital (IGMH) in Maldives for 7 years. He has worked as a Consulting Orthodontist at Al -Amal Hospital, Buri, Bahrain for 2 years before joining Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Centre.

He has a keen interest in preventive orthodontics - adult orthodontics, smile design- for look braces, tooth coloured braces, orthodontics for children using myofunctional appliances, metal, ceramic braces, and long term retention.

Dr Harshad is a certified Invisalign provider. He is an associate member of faculty of dental trainers, RCSEd, U.K. He has numerous publications and case reports published in peer reviewed International journals.

He has membership in prestigious Fello of World Federation of Orthodontics (WFO), International Association of Orthodontics (IAO), European Orthodontics Association (EOS), and Member of Royal Society for Health Promotion (MRSH), and Member of Lingucare Invisible Braces USA (iBRACES).
