Dr. Ashvij Rukkaya Shriyan is a seasoned paediatrician and neonatologist with over 13 years of dedicated service. He holds an MBBS from Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur, and an MD in Pediatrics from Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, New Bombay. He further specialized in neonatology through a fellowship at Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune.

Prior to joining Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital as a Specialist Pediatrician, he worked as a Consultant Neonatologist at A.J. Hospital and Research Centre, Mangalore.

Dr. Ashwij has a proven track record of providing exceptional care to premature and critically ill newborns, having managed a Level III National Neonatology Forum (NNF) accredited NICU for 10 years. His expertise encompasses a wide range of neonatal procedures including intubation, ventilation management, chest tube placement, and umbilical catheterization.

He is a passionate advocate for compassionate patient care and has a strong commitment to professional development, serving as a National Level Trainer for NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and actively participating in conferences and CMEs. He has held leadership positions in several professional organizations, including the National Neonatology Forum, the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, and served as an assessor for Special Newborn Care Units in Karnataka, India.
