Dr. Harikrishnan has been working at Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Centre as a full-time specialist Dermatologist since 2004. He has over 22 years of sound experience in Dermatology.

After completing his MBBS from Calicut Medical College, he joined the Kerala Government Health Sector as assistant surgeon in 1982. In 1996 he did his MD in Dermatology in Calicut Medical College. Later, he worked as Dermatologist in District hospital Kanchangad, and Taluk Head Quarters Hospital, Kasargod, Kerala. He has held the charges of District Medical Officer (DMO) of Health, Kasargod District for a year in 2002.
